Psalm 68:35--"You, God, are awesome in your sanctuary; the God of Israel gives power and strength to his people. Praise be to God!"
Thank goodness, HE gives me strength. Without it, I don't know where I would be. Today marks day #2 of Jim working nights, so far it has not been nearly what we were expecting. He got home this morning sometime after 5... That is after going in at 3 yesterday. Today he was there by 2:45, we will see what time he gets home tonight, but tomorrow he has to go in early to catch the guy that he needs to talk to about ordering his uniforms. This is not what I signed up for. Yes, I know when you have a responsibility, position, pay increase that you have to make sacrifices but I sure hope this gets under control soon!
Today, Mom called and asked about letting Jim know that Michael's is doing special Mother's Day projects this week. When she realized that he wouldn't be able to take Kerstin, she offered since she was already taking a couple other grand kids. I am so blessed to have family supporting me so that she doesn't miss out on this stuff and what a great opportunity for K to get some quality time with Grandma and Papa!
Well, I am off to bed to try to get some sleep, hopefully tonight I will only wake up a couple of times instead of the 6 times I did last night... Sleeping alone is one of the top 3 things I dislike the most about this!
